تصدَّرت دولة قطر الخليجية قائمة فوربس لأغنى دول العالم. ففي عام 2010 احتلت دولة قطر المركز الأول على مستوى العالم من حيث نصيب الفرد من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، مع احتياطات هائلة من النفط والغاز الطبيعي. وتشير التقديرات إلى أن قطر سوف تقوم باستثمار أكثر من 120 مليار دولار في قطاع الطاقة خلال السنوات العشر القادمة. لقد انتقلت قطر، في فترةٍ قياسيةٍ، من حالة الغموض والتخبّط إلى أوج الثروة والنفوذ. هذا التحوّل المذهل هو نتيجة مباشرة للجهود التي بذلها منذ حوالي 200 عام رجل متميّز وصاحب رؤية ثاقبة هو جاسم بن محمد بن ثاني، الذي أبصر النور في عام 1825 وعُرف باسم “القائد”.
كانت قطر في عام 1830 شبه جزيرة صحراوية تعاني من التشرذم والانقسام، دون أمنٍ أو حدودٍ. مجتمعها المحلي الساحلي يعتمد في عيشه على صيد اللؤلؤ، لكنه يرزح تحت وطأة غارات القبائل المجاورة. لقد مهّدت نشأة جاسم في هذه البيئة المحفوفة بالمخاطر الطريق أمامه ليدرك أهمية رأب الصدع بين الشعوب القبلية المستوطنة، والسيطرة على الصراعات الإقليمية لتأسيس دولة قطرية موحدة. أقام جاسم تحالفات ناجحة مع القوى العثمانية لصدّ البريطانيين، ووطَّد السلطة في العاصمة الدوحة التي أعيد بناؤها حديثاً، وأصبح في نهاية المطاف أول قائد للدولة الجديدة.
لا يمكن التقليل من أهمية الإنجاز الاستثنائي الذي حقَّقه جاسم، والذي لا يُعرف عنه الكثير خارج دولة قطر. حين وافت المنية الشيخ جاسم عشية الحرب العالمية الأولى، كان العثمانيون والبريطانيون قد اعترفوا بالحكم الذاتي لقطر، وبات الطريق مفتوحاً أمام الدولة التي أنشأها، للمضيّ قدماً وبثبات نحو المكانة الاقتصادية التي تُحسد عليها اليوم. إن هذه المسيرة الرائعة التي انتهجها جاسم في حياته وحياة العالم من حوله، ثبَّتت قدميه بجدارة كقائد عظيم من قادة الماضي، وجعلته من الشخصيات المؤثّرة في تشكيل الحاضر.
نقدّم في هذا الديوان الأعمال الشعرية الكاملة للشاعر العراقي الكبير الراحل رشيد ياسين، الذي كان من أهم رواد الشعر العربي الحديث في القرن العشرين، ولعلّنا لا نبالغ إذا قلنا إنّ في هذه الصفحات بعضاً من أجمل ما كُتب باللغة العربية. أتقن رشيد ياسين صنعة الشعر العربي الكلاسيكي وبدأ بنشره وهو ما يزال طالباً في الثانوية. وفي أواخر الأربعينيات لعب دوراً أساسياً، مع عدد من شعراء جيله، في خلق نمط جديد من الشعر العربي اتسم بقوافٍ وأوزان أكثر انسيابية وقدرة على التعبير.
تناول رشيد ياسين في شعره ما عاصره من الظروف والأحداث العربية والعالمية، ومع ذلك تبدو قصائده وكأنّها كُتبت اليوم. فقد كتب عن الفقراء والمظلومين والمناضلين، وانتقد الطغاة وحثّ الجماهير على رفض الظلم. وكتب كذلك الكثير من الشعر الوجداني وصف فيه الحب والطبيعة والجمال ومعاناة النفس البشرية بصدق وإحساس مرهف.
يغلب على شعر رشيد ياسين الطابع الروائي، ويتسم أسلوبه بجمال الإيقاع والقافية وبالبلاغة وبساطة التعبير، فكما قال في مقدمة إحدى مجموعاته الشعرية: “سيلاحظ القارئ أن هذه القصائد تتّصف عموماً بالبساطة والوضوح، وهو منهج ألزمتُ به نفسي في كل كتاباتي الشعرية والنثرية، لأن ما يهمني هو التواصل مع أوسع قطاع ممكن من القرّاء، ولأنّ ما أتحدّث عنه هو هموم إنسانية عامة أريد أن أشرك فيها الآخرين. وإذا استطاع بعض قرّائي أن يجدوا أنفسهم في بعض ما كتبت وكان للإيقاع والعبارة الشعرية صدى في نفوسهم فهذا غاية ما أطمح إلى بلوغه.”
